Overview
Fabric8 has been designed as user friendly “Cloud based” SaaS (Software as a Service) computer programs for businesses, Organisations or Individuals to have access to interactive computer program/s in the “Cloud” (on a Private Managed VPS computer) to schedule Jobs and Tasks for businesses.
It is suitable for any Business, Organisation or Government Dept that wants to improve its management of business processes by the introduction of Internet Cloud management of scheduling, communication, document management and Accountability for identified tasks within the business/Organisation/Dept, to improve business viability, communication, client confidence and participant satisfaction.
It comprises of two separate sections.
1. Management Section.
- Allocation, Scheduling communication and collaboration of all tasks and projects. ie Local and remote Office Tasks, Diaries, Job Tasks, Processes, Manufacturing scheduling, Construction Design collaboration, Quotations and Project Management works. etc.
- Scheduling of Business Management Tasks - Asset Management, Project Management, Resource Management, Compliance Management, Governance Management, Environmental Management, Risk Mitigation and management, Work Health and Safety Management (General and Site/Task Specific), Essential Services Management, Property Management and Maintenance Management, plus any other task that requires recording, allocation, scheduling, communication and verification (Accountability management)
- Allocation of, communication of requirements of all tasks allocated to Local Staff, remote Staff, Suppliers and Contractors etc.
- Allocation of resources with life cycle scheduling.
- Scheduling of all tasks with Early Start dates and Late Finish dates or link them to other tasks start and finish times.
- Provision of Notes, reference material or instructions as applicable to each task.
- Providing access to individual Job documentation, Business Policies, Rules and Regulations and Procedures as appropriate.
- Providing access to all documentation applicable to tasks or Jobs as appropriate.
- early communicating all tasks as agreed with all team members and participants as prearranged.
- Providing ”Call Forward” communication, access to and Collaboration of Job and Task Scheduling to minimize bottlenecks in participants scheduling.
- Providing 24/7 access to “participants” scheduling via Task Reports or Gantt Chart Reports or Monthly Calendar Reports.
- Allowing for differing access rules for Business Proprietors, Supervisors, Staff, Contractors and Suppliers or any other participant.
- Providing access to and Communicating Staff scheduling.
- Recording of non-working days.
- Having a powerful delay management/Contract extension system to communicate delays to affected persons/business/s, apply for and record all extensions and contract variations in scheduling.
- Have available visual systems of management for Managers and Supervisors to communicate scheduling eg. Gantt charts for selected dates. Task List reports etc.
- Providing progress payment scheduling for claims, receipts and Budgeting scheduling.
- Providing extensive reporting of task allocations and task Note verifications.
- Providing business owners/ Organisation management full access to all scheduling for all participants, all reports.
- Establishment of systems for reviewing of planned scheduling against actual scheduling.
- Providing quick and easy scheduling of auditing checks of individual Management Systems by having a central document storage (manuals, commitments planning and reviews), task allocations, resource management, scheduling of auditing procedures and checking systems, the uploading of reviews, even the possibility of verification of Compliance by providing remote access to the Fabric8 section for the appropriate auditors.

2. User Access Section.
